Stone 01 is expected to officially launch at the end of the year at the earliest, and will compete with other hardcore SUV models such as the Tank 500 and Beijing BJ60. Stone 01 is powered by an extended-range hybrid system, which consists of a 1.5T engine and a dual-motor system for the front and rear. The 1.5T engine has a maximum power of 112 kW. The maximum output power of the front and rear dual motor is 150 kW and 200 kW, respectively. The car’s ternary lithium battery pack is supplied by CATL.
The overall shape of BAW Stone 01 adopts a square boxy design, which is common to hard-core SUVs. In the front, the headlight group adopts a Y-shape design. From the side, the blackened pillars create the suspended roof effect. Other elements including the luggage rack and exterior mirrors are also blackened to further highlight the sportiness of the car.
At the rear, the tailgate can be opened from the left side. The taillights adopt a vertical design. And of course, the external spare tire cannot be missed to fit the impression of an off-road vehicle. As a large SUV, the size of the car is 5050/1980/1869mm, and the wheelbase is 3010mm. The total weight of the vehicle is 3189 kg.
