Can Lynk & Co’s first fully electric vehicle make a strong impact?

Lynk & Co's fully electric vehicle has finally arrived. On September 5th, the brand's first fully electric mid-to-large luxury sedan, the Lynk & Co Z10, was officially launched at the Hangzhou E-sports Center. This new model marks Lynk & Co's expansion into the new energy vehicle market. Built on an 800V high-voltage platform and equipped with an all-electric drive system, the Z10 features a sleek fastback design. Let's first introduce a unique feature of the Lynk & Co Z10 launch—it's paired with a custom smartphone. Using this custom phone, you can enable the Flyme Link smartphone-to-car connectivity feature in the Z10. This includes functionalities such as:

Seamless Connection: After the initial manual confirmation to connect your phone to the car system, the phone will automatically connect to the car's system upon entering, making smartphone-to-car connectivity more convenient.

App Continuity: Mobile apps will automatically transfer to the car's system, eliminating the need to install them separately on the car. You can directly operate mobile apps on the car's interface. With the LYNK Flyme Auto window mode, the interface and operations are consistent with the phone.

Parallel Window: Mobile apps will adapt to the car's screen, allowing the same app to be split into two windows for left and right-side operations. This dynamic split ratio adjustment enhances the experience, especially for news and video apps, providing a better experience than on a phone.

App Relay: It supports seamless relay of QQ Music between the phone and the car system. When entering the car, the music playing on the phone will automatically transfer to the car's system. Music information can be seamlessly transferred between the phone and the car, and apps can be displayed and operated directly on the car's system without needing installation or consuming data.

Staying True to Originality, Creating the True "Car of Tomorrow"

In terms of exterior design, the new Lynk & Co Z10 is positioned as a mid-to-large fully electric sedan, drawing inspiration from the design essence of the Lynk & Co 08 and adopting the design philosophy from the "The Next Day" concept car. This design aims to break away from the monotony and mediocrity of urban vehicles. The front of the car features a highly personalized design, distinguishing itself from other Lynk & Co models with a more aggressive style, while also showcasing a refined attention to detail.

The front of the new car features a prominently extended upper lip, seamlessly followed by a full-width light strip. This innovative light strip, making its debut in the industry, is a multi-color interactive light band measuring 3.4 meters and integrated with 414 RGB LED bulbs, capable of displaying 256 colors. Paired with the car's system, it can create dynamic lighting effects. The Z10's headlights, officially called "Dawn Light" daytime running lights, are positioned at the edges of the hood with an H-shaped design, making it instantly recognizable as a Lynk & Co vehicle. The headlights are supplied by Valeo and integrate three functions—position, daytime running, and turn signals—into one unit, offering a sharp and striking appearance. The high beams can reach a brightness of 510LX, while the low beams have a maximum brightness of 365LX, with a projection distance of up to 412 meters and a width of 28.5 meters, covering six lanes in both directions, significantly enhancing nighttime driving safety.

Combined with high-quality panoramic sound sources, the Lynk & Co Z10 delivers a new three-dimensional, immersive auditory experience for its users.

It's safe to say that the rear seats of the Lynk & Co Z10 are likely to be the most popular. Imagine sitting in the spacious rear cabin, surrounded by ambient lighting, enjoying a musical feast delivered by the 23 Harman Kardon speakers and WANOS panoramic sound system, all while relaxing with heated, ventilated, and massaging seats. Such a luxurious travel experience is something to be desired more often!
