A few days ago, some media drew a set of effect diagrams of the new Tesla Model Y. From the pictures, the overall styling style of the new Tesla Model Y is more similar to that of the new Model 3. Compared with the current Model Y, the new car's light clusters are more narrowly shaped, and it is also expected to carry a front penetrating light band, and the tail end is equipped with a penetrating taillight cluster. Previously, overseas media KOL Tesla Newswire revealed on social media that the new Tesla Model Y is expected to carry a battery pack with a capacity of 95 kWh, and the maximum range may reach 800 kilometers.
The latest renderings show that it could feature a through-light design at both the front and rear, and there are even spy shots that confirm this idea. Tesla first adopted a similar design for the Seb Cross Country Wagon, which also echoes the through-lights at the rear.
In addition to the exterior upgrades, the interior of the new Model Y is also expected to see major changes. While the overall framework may remain the same, detailed adjustments will make the new Model Y more user-friendly. For example, the turn signal toggle and pocket gear design behind the steering wheel may be eliminated, and the related functions will be integrated into the steering wheel and center screen.
The power information of the new Tesla Model Y has not been exposed more for the time being, but the new Model Y may be upgraded in terms of suspension system, power performance and range.
