At the 2024 Paris Motor Show, Volkswagen showcased its latest concept car, the ID. GTI Concept. This concept car is built on the MEB platform and aims to combine classic GTI elements with modern electric technology, showing Volkswagen's design concept and direction for future electric models.
From the appearance point of view, the Volkswagen ID. GTI Concept continues the classic elements of the Volkswagen GTI series, while incorporating the design concept of modern electric vehicles. The new car uses a nearly closed black front grille, with red trim and GTI logo, showing the traditional characteristics of the GTI series.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4104mm/1840mm/1499mm respectively, a wheelbase of 2600mm, and is equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels, reflecting a sporty feel.

At the rear, the red through-type LED taillight bar and black diagonal decoration, as well as the red GTI logo in the center, pay tribute to the classic design of the first-generation Golf GTI. The two-stage diffuser at the bottom highlights the sporty genes of the GTI.

In addition, the new double-spoke steering wheel and checkered seat design are designed to provide users with a unique driving experience.
In terms of power, the ID. GTI Concept is equipped with a front axle differential lock, and through the newly developed GTI Experience Control system on the center console, the driver can adjust the drive system, transmission, steering force, sound feedback, and even simulate shift points to achieve personalized selection of power output style.
