The history of Toyota Land Cruiser family can be traced back to 1951, as a world-renowned off-road vehicle, the Land Cruiser family has developed to a total of three series, respectively, the Land Cruiser Land Cruiser, which focuses on luxury, the PRADO Prado, which focuses on fun, and the LC70 series, which is the most hardcore tool car. This is a Toyota LC75 from 1999 and is a boxy two-door structure with a split tailgate. Power comes from a 4.5-liter naturally aspirated inline 6-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine has a conventional carburetor and the complete powertrain involves almost no electronics, let alone electronic controls or intelligence, so reliability is excellent and maintenance is extremely easy.
On the transmission side, a time-shift four-wheel-drive system with a transfer case provides high and low-speed four-wheel drive, and front and rear stiff axles ensure suspension travel and passing power, along with a wading hose and no electronics for tough wading ability.
